All Souls Anglican Church

After the Christchurch earthquakes devastated their 1926 stone parish, All Souls Merivale underwent a new journey resulting in a merger of two parishes and a new building in late 2018. 

The building was architecturally designed by Warren and Mahoney Architects Ltd, and won a 2020 Canterbury Architecture Award, speaking to the magnificence of the space. 

The conical chapel is a blend of old and new styles and the Alloyfold church chair is the perfect compliment to the elegant design. Our church chairs with arms and church chairs in navy upholstery work well with the stained glass windows salvaged from the original church, along with the modern feature walls and timber lines in the main auditorium.
