Ministry of Justice

Alloyfold NZ celebrated a successful tender process in April 2007 when learning of the awarded Ministry of Justice contracts.  Alloyfold pitched to supply upholstered 5 and 6 beam mounted seats (AF517N)  to 105 District courts over New Zealand during the following 3 years.

The installs kicked off with 800 seated positions for the Auckland District Court completed in July 2008.  A team from head office in Christchurch, combined with sister company Oak Tree Labour hire workers and local tradespeople worked to get the seating fitted in one weekend.  The job involved removing the existing seating and fitting the Alloyfold seating to the floor.  Alloyfold’s Managing Director, Murray Kennedy says “We believe strongly in not only our products but also our ethos.  Alloyfold and Oak Tree exist to support Pathway Trust which aims to provide low skilled and disadvantaged people in our community, employment and positive life change.  This contract is one of the great ways we are able to do that.”

Since then Alloyfold have completed installation projects in Masteron, Timaru and Hastings, and have a number of other projects to complete in the future.
